Upcoming Mossbourne Parents' Association Events
A warm welcome from the Mossbourne Community Academy Parents’ Association to all the new families who are joining us.
We will have our next meeting on Wednesday 12th December at 6.45pm in the sixth form common room. Please come along, bring your ideas and get involved.
With your support we can form stronger links within the school community and raise money towards creating greater opportunities for all students.

WINTER CRAFT FAIR 2012
A wonderful Winter Craft Fair in a canteen sparkling with snowflakes. Over £1,300 raised including over £250 by students for charities as diverse as Save the Children and Chickens Out! The money raised will go to support the music bursary scheme being set up by the school to provide wider access to instrumental lessons.
We would like to thank everyone who came and everyone who helped out on the day and especially:
Ms Painter whose behind-the scenes support for the MCAPA has been invaluable
Mr Watson and the year nine singer for providing some entertaining music
All the students that got involved running stalls and activites
The Turkish Parents’ Group for their delicious food
The parents that helped set up on Friday and run stalls on the day

Look out for the Parents' Association selling second-hand uniforms at every parents' evening. And please donate andy items of uniform that your child has grown out of - there is a labelled bin near the entrance of the school where you can place your donations.
E-SAFETY AND SOCIAL NETWORKING SEMINAR
Our first E-Safety and Social Networking Seminar took place on 1st March 2012 and was attended by more than 40 parents.
