GCSE course overview

GCSE German students have three lessons a week. We follow the Edexcel syllabus and use a wide range of digital learning resources.

We will study a range of topics which will enable students to learn about the countries where German is spoken and profit more from a trip there. They will also develop vital study skills such as problem-solving or applying grammar rules, which will help boost their achievements in other subjects too. They will be assessed on the four skills of Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.
